Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Trucell Supplements collects when you visit trucellsupplements.com or buy from us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email support@trucellsupplements.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, shipping and billing address and phone number when you place an order; your subscription details if you subscribe; your email address when you sign up for our emails; anything you write to us; and any review you submit.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and what you add to your cart. This is done with cookies and similar technologies. When you open or click one of our emails, that is recorded too.

We don't ask for health information, and you don't need to give us any to buy from us.

How we use it

To process, ship and support your orders.
To run your subscription: billing each renewal, sending a reminder before it, and letting you skip, pause or cancel.
To send order, shipping and account emails. These are part of the service and aren't marketing.
To send marketing email if you've signed up. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away.
To answer your questions and handle returns and refunds.
To calculate and file sales tax, keep financial records, and prevent fraud.
To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to measure and show our ads on Google.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the companies that help us run the store, and only what each one needs:

Shopify hosts the store, checkout, payments and your customer account.
Recharge manages subscriptions and bills renewals.
Supliful and ShipHero make, pack and ship your order, and the shipping carriers deliver it.
Klaviyo sends our emails.
Yotpo collects and displays product reviews.
Aftersell shows offers after checkout.
Avalara calculates sales tax, and Finaloop keeps our books.
Elevar records site and purchase activity for measurement and passes it to Google for analytics and advertising.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a buyer if the business is ever sold.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never sell or share what you have bought with anyone except the companies above that fulfil and support your order.

We share browsing, device and purchase information with Google so we can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited the site. Some state laws, including California's, call this "sharing" or "targeted advertising." To opt out, use the Your Privacy Choices page, linked at the foot of every page, or email support@trucellsupplements.com with the subject "Do not sell or share" and the email address you shop with. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.

Your choices and rights

Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or ask us.
Cookies: you can block or delete them in your browser. The store still works, though some features such as your cart may not.
Access, correction and deletion: you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep some records, such as order and tax records, where the law requires it.

Residents of California and several other US states have these rights by law, along with the right to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, and the right not to be treated differently for using them. To make a request, email support@trucellsupplements.com. We'll confirm your identity by matching the email address on your orders, and we'll respond within 45 days. You can also have an authorised agent make the request for you.

How long we keep it

We keep order and account information for as long as you shop with us and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterwards. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Security

Payments run through Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout, and every page of the site is served over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think something is wrong with your account, tell us straight away.

Children

Our products are for adults, and the site is not meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
